A seasoned educator and instructional leader, Ms. Perez is devoted to implementing restorative approaches that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her impactful work has transformed the lives of students, staff, and communities across various Washington metropolitan school districts, fostering a culture of inclusivity and equity.
Currently, Ms. Perez serves as a Restorative Practitioner in a Maryland public school district, where she passionately advocates for social justice, educational equity, and systemic transformation. Her mission is to dismantle the "School-to-Prison Nexus" and create an educational environment where everyone can thrive.
Ms. Perez is committed to ensuring that every individual has access to quality education, feels safe and welcomed, and is empowered to unlock their full potential. As a beacon of hope and change, she is dedicated to a brighter and more equitable future for all.
