Meet Ms. A. Michael Perez, a leading trainer, coach, and advocate with over two decades of experience in public education. A seasoned educator and instructional leader, Ms. Perez is devoted to implementing restorative approaches that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her impactful work has transformed the lives of students, staff, and communities across various Washington metropolitan school districts, fostering a culture of inclusivity and equity.
Currently, Ms. Perez serves as a Restorative Practitioner in a Maryland public school district, where she passionately advocates for social justice, educational equity, and systemic transformation. Her mission is to dismantle the "School-to-Prison Nexus" and create an educational environment where everyone can thrive.
Ms. Perez is committed to ensuring that every individual has access to quality education, feels safe and welcomed, and is empowered to unlock their full potential. As a beacon of hope and change, she is dedicated to a brighter and more equitable future for all.
Meet Ms. Ebony McDonald, our efficient and knowledgeable Service Coordinator Consultant. With a Master's degree in Human Resources Administration and 14 years of comprehensive HR experience, Ms. McDonald excels particularly in Employee Relations. Currently, she serves as a Human Resources Manager for a non-profit healthcare agency, where she leverages her extensive expertise to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Meet Dr. Erika Edwards Singletary, one of our esteemed Lead Trainers. With an impressive 23-year tenure in education, Dr. Erika currently serves as a Restorative Justice Instructional Specialist in a Maryland public school district. Her diverse experience includes roles as a Special Educator, an Alternative Education Instructor, and a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Liaison. Additionally, she spent eight years in New York, where she excelled as a leadership intern, a teacher on leadership special assignments, and a Special Educator. Dr. Erika is also a trained Maryland State Mediator.
Dr. Erika is passionate about fostering strong relationships and creating access and opportunities for staff, students, and families. She is committed to ensuring all stakeholders experience a meaningful and enriching educational journey.
Meet Ms. Dillard, one of our distinguished Lead Trainers. With 16 years of experience as a Special Education teacher and 5 years as a School Administrator, Ms. Dillard brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. A proud product of the Prince George’s County Public School system, she pursued higher education at Towson University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education, a Master's degree in Special Education, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Loyola University.
As an educator, Ms. Dillard is passionately committed to the educational, social, and behavioral welfare of each student. She understands the critical importance of building strong relationships with her students to effectively meet their needs and foster a safe, nurturing environment for all stakeholders.
